Stained Red with Love

Just a random OC pic I whipped up while listening to Beauty and the Beast in the next room (freakin' LOVE that movie! )

Koharu was an OC I created for Ranma 1/2 incidentally. And despite what the text reads, she's actually a very apt Cupid. Her only fault was that she became too attached to the people on earth. Through circumstances she finds herself in love with Mousse, which becomes problematic because he is her current job - she is assigned to bring him and Shampoo together. Well, her sudden attraction to him doesn't prevent her from attempting her job, but it DOES make her hypersensitive to how harshly Shampoo rejects Mousse's love and thereby infuriates her. Koharu does her job though and manages to bring the two together, though she's still a bit tiffed at the purple headed Amazon.

After she completes this job, she is assigned more jobs in the Nermina area with similar love/hate relationships. She has to bring Ukyo and Konatsu, who's feelings are basically taken advantage of for financial reasons, Kuno and Nabiki, who are both terribly difficult to work with, Ryouga and Akari, who she finds a great stress relief with how easy it is, and then finally Ranma and Akane. With each couple conquered, Koharu becomes more attatched to the earth, turning her wings and her hair more and more red.

Finally she can return to heaven when she brings Ranma and Akane together, but by then she is blood red and the other angels are ashamed of her. She is also ashamed because she wants to become human to find her OWN love story instead of writing out everyone elses. The other angels consider this blasphemy but God states that though her body is that of an angel her heart and soul are that of a human...so He'll just have to make her outside match her insides.

So Koharu decends from heaven to reunite with the lovely couples she set up. (Third wheel much?) Feeling just a bit depressed at basically being kicked out of her home (though it is what she wanted) and not having anyone to sympathize with, it's no wonder she finds herself suddenly attracted to the crude stranger with pantyhose around his waist who refuses to let anyone speak his full name.

She decides she'll just call him "Taro-kun" then.

....I did not expect to write so much. But then, this is Koharu's debut!
