Naaaaawwwww. It's an adorable pairing, really. Especially when you tweak the ages like this, as well as do it with your ever-so-cute drawing style. Crack pairing just seem to be the best, hence, some of my favorite pairings are insane corssovers. As for Spike x Rarity... It's cute, just not my favorite.

Anyhow, really adorable picture, here, as all of yours are.

I'm actually just rolling with the punches with any and all shippings with Spike... I ship him with Rarity, because it basically IS canon. But I could see him with any of the CMC as well... though I don't really follow up on it. I could actually see Spike and Twi for the same reasons you do... But for the most part... I actually do kinda ship Rarity a little bit with Applejack at the moment, and getting half and half feels with Twixie.
