But Garnet does bequeth her throne at the end of the game. Zidane appears and Garnet runs toward him and as she runs toward him, the pendant from around her neck falls to the ground, and she realizes what she's giving up and doesn't care and she removes her tiara and she and Zidane are together. Steiner and Beatrix hold up the sword together and will be king and queen. So yes, the best possible ending happened. Zidane and Garnet are officially together and Steiner and Beatrix are together and on the throne. Perfect ending except Vivi is not there which is really sad. Vivi is my third favorite character after Zidane and Garnet.
